Powdered food coloring produces the darkest red hue to your favorite kuih-muih, fish & prawn crackers, red eggs, char siew, curry paste, tandoori chicken, and many traditional Indian snacks (e.g. laddu, jalebi, etc.). Add directly into dry mixes or turn it into liquid food coloring with little water. As the powder is highly concentrated, start with a small amount and repeat if necessary to create a darker hue. Use with care as it may stain clothing, hands, or mouth.
